Description

LDN880, B343 - the Wolf's Head Nebula in Cygnus in HOO with a PIP rendering applied.  Also open cluster IC1311 and, most exciting for me, Patchick 6, a small , fairly recently discovered, planetary nebula visible as a small blue bubble in the lower right corner.

There's a lot going on in this area of the sky, the Wolf's Head nebula plus dense clouds of dust forming intricate shapes. The area is dominated by Ha, but the Oiii contribution picks out the dust clouds and Patchick 6 in particular.

21 hours of 20 minutes exposures with the Antlia ALP-T dual band filter
